FAQ
Clear answers before you commit.
Start with the question on your mind about fit, scope, pricing, ownership, or support. See how Cloudry keeps the process practical and transparent.
Getting started
Yes. Start with the problem, opportunity, or outcome you have in mind. We’ll help identify the right type of solution, decide what matters most for launch, and shape a clear starting point.
We begin with a focused conversation about what you want to accomplish, who the product should serve, and what is not working today. From there, we outline the recommended scope, timeline, responsibilities, and next steps.
A rough description of your idea is enough. Bring any useful examples, current challenges, deadlines, or existing tools you think may matter. You do not need polished requirements or technical documents.
Project fit
Not always. If an existing product can support your needs reliably, we’ll say so. Custom work makes more sense when standard tools create awkward workarounds, leave important systems disconnected, or cannot support the experience you want to provide.
No. We work with established businesses, early-stage founders, and individuals turning a serious idea into a real product. What matters most is having a worthwhile problem to solve and being ready to shape it together.
Existing systems
Yes. Rebuilding is not the default. We can review what you already have and recommend whether it should be improved, connected to other tools, partly replaced, or rebuilt. We’ll explain the reasoning before you commit to a direction.
Often, yes. We’ll review the systems, data, permissions, and available connections first. If a reliable integration is not possible, we’ll explain the limitation and recommend another approach rather than forcing a fragile solution.
Timeline and process
It depends on the size of the first release, the number of integrations, content readiness, feedback, and technical complexity. We’ll give you an expected timeline and clear milestones before the build begins.
We’ll need your business knowledge, priorities, feedback, and decisions at agreed review points. We handle the technical coordination and day-to-day implementation, so you can stay involved without having to manage the build yourself.
Ideas often become clearer once the product starts taking shape. If a request adds meaningful work, we’ll explain how it affects cost and timing before moving forward. Small clarifications can usually be handled within the original scope.
Pricing and payments
Your price is based on the agreed work needed to plan, design, build, test, and launch the product. The build cost, payment schedule, and any ongoing hosting or management fees are shown separately before you commit.
An initial payment reserves the project and allows work to begin. The remaining balance is usually divided across clear milestones, with other arrangements considered when they make sense for the project.
Monthly costs depend on what the product needs to stay online and supported, including hosting, traffic, integrations, monitoring, and maintenance. We can scale those resources as real usage grows, so you are not paying for unnecessary capacity too early.
Ownership and access
You will know what you own, what you can access, and what Cloudry continues to manage before work begins. Typically the code written for your project is considered yours after all balances have been paid, and you can request a handoff of your code. Your project terms will also explain how any reusable Cloudry components are licensed and what would be involved in a future handoff. We can also help you setup resources to properly own and manage your code.
Your access will match the level of control and responsibility you choose. We’ll identify the accounts, administrative access, documentation, and handoff materials included with the project, and provide sensitive credentials securely.
Hosting and support
After launch, we make sure the agreed product is running properly and address issues related to the completed build. From there, Cloudry can continue supporting improvements as your needs change.
Yes. We can manage hosting, monitoring, updates, backups, technical support, integrations, and planned improvements for Cloudry-built products. We’ll make it clear which services are included, optional, or required for your system.
Working with Cloudry
You’ll work directly with our founder "Jermol" throughout planning, important build decisions, launch, and ongoing support. Specialists or supporting services may be used when helpful, but you will still have one clear point of contact responsible for the project.
Security is planned around the type of data, users, integrations, and risks involved in your product.
Yes. We can help organize pages, shape interface copy, and make content support the customer journey. If the project needs full brand strategy, extensive copywriting, original photography, or another specialist service, we’ll clarify whether it is included, coordinated, or provided separately.
Still deciding what your project needs?
Start with the outcome. We’ll help clarify the rest.
